Product Owner (inSITE)- "W-TRS"

Job Description:

*Establishes the technical vision for the PPSS TADSS by understanding the broad spectrum of requirements and setting the direction for how the PPSS TADSS will meet these needs effectively and securely

*Leads the overall architecture and design to be scalable, secure, and capable of meeting current and future requirements.

*Makes critical decisions on the technological frameworks, data structures, security protocols, and integration capabilities with other systems.

*Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to ensure the PPSS TADSS meets DoD security standards.

*Oversees the integration of secure login mechanisms, role-based access controls, and ensuring all data handling practices comply with relevant regulations and policies. Coordinates the projects technical resources, timelines, and budgets.

*This involves working closely with project managers, financial analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure development and deployment are efficient and within the agreed parameters.

*Institutes rigorous quality assurance practices and performance benchmarks.

*Oversees testing and validation processes to ensure the system is reliable, user-friendly, and capable of handling the required data and user load.

*Communicates technical strategies, progress, and challenges effectively and ensuring stakeholder requirements and concerns are addressed in in development.

*Monitors performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and future enhancement opportunities.

*Manages backlog. Creates, prioritizes, and refines product backlog items (PBIs), such as user stories, to ensure that the team always works on the most valuable tasks.

*Acts as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders.

(10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree)

Job Requirements:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The worker is primarily in an office environment. Programs will require travel to and working in outside environments at government locations from hot and dry to cold and humid. PPE required to mitigate environmental and safety hazards.
